OMRON Healthcare is looking for a Country Sales Manager for the German market. Reporting into the General Manager Germany and Austria. The CSM oversees the sales activities of Germany and manages the designated Sales team to reach agreed turnover and profit objectives, so that the organization can grow in terms of sales and profits and can reach the desired market position within the scope of the mid- and long-term strategy as defined by the management.

This is a critical role for the organization, and we are looking for a senior sales leader that will bring a strong track record of success. A good fit for the role will be a leader that has a strong focus on value-based sales across products and services. The role is a fantastic opportunity to build the market and to make your own mark on the strategy of OMRON Healthcare Germany.

Key Activities
  • Manage and motivate the local sales team (i.e., Key Account Manager and Sales Manager), including recruitment, training, performance evaluation, work allocation, conflict resolution and termination and manage all sales activities in the designated country.
  • Plan, negotiate, agree and control the annual sales budget for the designated country in order to achieve sales turnover and gross-profit targets. Negotiate regular and spot business opportunities for the responsible area within the Country Sales Manager mandate.
  • Develop a strategic long term, midterm and annual business plan in order to achieve sales and profits targets focusing on both products and services offered by OMRON Healthcare.
  • Execute, monitor evaluate and adjust country business plans.
  • Build up and maintain good business relationships between OMRON and (potential) customers, opinion leaders, and other relevant associations.
  • Manage annual sales promotions and special sales campaigns for the responsible area in co-ordination with Marketing and Business Development.
  • Ensure across-the-board supervision for all defined customer segments and report on all the significant changes on the market.
The Ideal Candidate Would Have
  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
  • Extensive experience of consultative sales, including strategic account and negotiation.
  • Experience in Product & Services in Sales offerings
  • Key account management experience
  • Successful KOL management experiences.
  • Strong in strategic business thinking, proven influencing skills and strong people leadership and management skills. Strong drive and motivation to succeed. Capability to bring in creative ideas and identify growth opportunities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills – confident, charismatic, and impactful presenter.
  • Hands-on operator who is equally effective in managing up and down and relates well at all levels and cultures.
  • Driven by values and integrity, straight talker, builds confidence and leads by example.
  • Demonstrable ability to balance a high-level view with detail.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and demonstrates high sense of urgency where required.
  • Fluent proficiency in German and English
