THE POSITION

Our Corporate Brand function is the strategic lead in managing our corporate brand and its identity. We shape and guard how the brand feels, sounds and looks across all internal and external touchpoints globally. We measure how the corporate brand is perceived amongst our stakeholders and across our owned channels. We evolve our corporate brand channels and underlying technology. And we advise our own organization on the setup of digital funnels, the use of creative technology, and support it in paid social media strategy and execution.

Tasks & responsibilities

  • As Corporate Brand Manager, you will contribute your expertise to actively evolving and governing the BI corporate brand, to enable current business and future growth.
  • In your new role, you support in the implementation of the Corporate Brand Identity and in enabling the organization through a library of brand assets.
  • You contribute to the governance of the Corporate Brand framework and identity, and to monitoring its consistent application across all functions, businesses, and geographies.
  • Furthermore, you contribute to providing counsel and direction in assessing and adopting evolving branding and design needs while ensuring alignment with BI’s corporate brand framework and BI’s brand architecture.
  • Working closely with other functions in CCB&PGA, you are responsible to monitor and measure the reputation of the Corporate Brand globally.
  • In working with the Technology & Insights team, you are responsible to
    • 1) ensure governance regarding the use of social media and the company’s social media channel landscape across geographies, businesses and functions, and
    • 2) to ensure the implementation of data & insights-based feedback loops that help to inform the constant evolution of the Corporate Brand Identity.

Requirements

  • Bachelor´s Degree in Marketing, or Business; alternatively, Psychology, Humanities, Social Sciences, or other in connection with relevant work experience (e.g. in an agency, or consultancy)
  • Several years of proven work experience, preferably in a matrixed organization
  • Good understanding of the various regulatory and legal constraints across all geographies
  • Strong knowledge of brand identity and management topics, incl. design system approaches paired with profound understanding of design tools and/or software
  • Very good knowledge of governance approaches and how to ensure consistency across geographical and functional layers
  • Excellent inter-personal and consultancy skills paired with an innovative and creative mind-set
  • Ability to think beyond the own role and to anticipate the potential impact of its activities
  • Strong command of English and a good command of German
