Job Purpose/ Role

The role is overall responsible for all communications topics around the Gearshift program, a strategic and global IT transformation program at Allianz Technology. This includes all components of the project, from transfers to industrialization and coordinating closely with the many other Communications and Change colleagues involved in the project, overseeing the overall communications plan and carrying out the many measures in it, both independently and in coordination with others.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all communication activities for Allianz Technology to present and maintain a positive image within the Allianz group and the external market
  • Develop and lead an effective communication plan and ensure appropriate communication for designated projects and activities in line with the overarching corporate communications strategy
  • Handle the communication activities with Allianz Technology employees and establish and cultivate the dialog with internal and external stakeholders
  • Research, develop, plan, maintain and implement policies, programs and communication structures that enhance Allianz Technology’s relations with the community, stakeholders and employees

Key Requirements/ Skills

  • Higher education degree or equivalent work experience
  • Possessing communication, moderation and presentation skills
  • Relevant work experience in e.g. communications, social media, PR, event management etc.
  • Fluency in English and German (spoken and written)
  • Ability to carry out tasks independently in non-standardized (ever-changing) work situations
  • Competence to exchange complex information with diplomatic tact and to cooperate with a diverse internal and external audience
