Overview

Planning is fundamental to the ongoing success of Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health. With a global attitude, the Sr. Business Analyst will collaborate closely with business partners to continually improve end to end planning processes. Responsible for business process analysis, contribute to shaping of agile user stories with well-defined acceptance criteria, and driving to agreeable, valuable solution in partnership with regional/ global Business and Technology partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Be a trusted technology partner, working with business and IT partners to identify unmet needs, and to propose and deliver innovative IT solutions.
  • Lead the functional/technical discovery process for Consumer plan platforms, gathering scope and requirements, producing functional specifications for solutions.
  • Proactively match business needs with existing J&J plan capabilities.
  • Provide rapid prototyping and conceptual designs where requirements are ambiguous or unproven.
  • Responsible for leading and delivering Enhancements and Smaller projects.
  • Support the implementation of larger programs and projects within the team
  • Actively support continuous process improvement to enhance business performance.
  • Partner with business owner to ensure delivery of the product SLAs
  • Review and approve changes to the Planning applications
  • Be open to learning by cultivating professional relationships inside and outside of J&J including building a good understanding of best practices in other countries in order to re-use or create new harmonized solutions wherever possible.
  • Apply compliance requirements within scope of responsibility

Qualifications

To be successful, you need to have the following qualifications:
  • 5+ years of technology - APO, OMP or other high capability Advanced Planning Systems (APS ).
  • Experience with some business supply chain experience ideally in a planning area preferably in the Consumer industry or life sciences industry
  • Experience implementing SAP (R/3, ECC or S/4) in PP and (or) MM space
  • Experience of working in projects deploying Planning systems or complex data management processes
  • Experience in SAP, APO or APS Configuration and customization and reporting tools
  • Experience in complex production planning system deployment, improvement initiatives and steady state support
  • Experience in solution design and Architecture
  • Experience in E2E Supply chain processes and in implementing complex IT solutions in e.g, Demand Planning, Supply Network Planning, Advanced planning and Material Planning capabilities
  • Experience working with/managing large, culturally diverse global teams across time-zones
  • Ability to successfully lead multiple critical priorities/issues
  • Experience in working with multiple partners within a matrix organization
  • Ability to coach/grow peers and team members
  • Experience driving business value through information technology

Preferred
  • Experience with Consumer Health or Life Science industry with understanding of regulatory compliance requirements.
  • Experience implementing or supporting OMP
  • Experience implementing S/4 integrations with Plan applications like OMP

Qualifications
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree or equivalent is required

Required
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant SAP APO Supply Chain experience with the desire to grow their capabilities to improve J&J’s business performance.
  • Experience in business analysis and project management delivering small and medium-scale projects in Plan

Other
  • This position may require travel upto 10 to 15%
